| Current music: | new Limbeck CD |
It was my second time seeing Limbeck. It was just as fantastic as the first. I love the thrill of being at a live show. I attended with Austin and Bryan who surely kept me laughing. We met up at my place. Austin got me some really neat stuff for me when he went to England. He's so sweet! He got me some cool stuff from "Shakespeare's birthplace." Also, a really awesome shirt from Oxford. I'm set college shirt wise. I have my Harvard gear, and now my Oxford gear, too. The drive seemed endless. We finally made it to Chain Reaction, and for some reason I felt nervous. We got out tickets and stood around making fun of each other. I couldn't see anything because the sun was blinding me, but it felt so warm.
It wasn't really full yet. I guess I'm one of the few people who like to see ALL of the bands play. The first band was The Plus Ones. They were pretty okay. Aw, it has been too long since I last attended a good-pumping show. My whole body was vibrating. I loved it. That sounds kind of strange.
Then the Great Glass Elevator came on. They set up a white curtain to hide themselves. Then the lights dimmed and smoke started coming out from behind the curtain with the new Charlie and the Chocolate factory theme song playing.. you know that one.. "willy wonka! willy wonka! the amazing " yeah. Then the curtain dropped. HAHA It was sooooooo awesome. The main singer was dressed as Willy Wonka. The attire had an uncanny resemblance to that of Johnny Depp's.
That band was pretty cool. They were good performers.
I don't even want to mention the 3rd band.
I've never wanted a band to be off the stage so badly.
Then there was Koufax! Oh how I wished I had brought my good dancing shoes.
They were absolutely fantastic. I just wanted to let go and dance crazy but my huge berlap sack purse was jam packed with everyone's shirts and cd's.
Oh well... next time!
I bought the CD so I will just dance wildly in my room.
LIMBECK!
Oh how I wouldn't mind marrying the lead singer.
They are always fantastic.
I think I like their old CD better, but the new one isn't bad!
